The curtains have now closed on a hugely successful ICOMIA/IFBSO Congress 2026, with delegates from across the global recreational marine industry coming together in Washington, D.C. for a packed week of collaboration, discussion and celebration.

Hosted by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), this year’s Congress once again proved why the event remains one of the most important gatherings on the international marine industry calendar. Over five days, attendees participated in committee meetings, keynote presentations, working groups and networking events, all focused on the future of recreational boating and strengthening global industry cooperation.

Congress 2026 carried extra significance as ICOMIA celebrated its 60th anniversary milestone. Founded in 1966, ICOMIA has spent six decades representing and supporting the global recreational marine industry, helping drive innovation, sustainability and international collaboration.

Gala Dinner Conclusion
The week concluded in style with a spectacular Great Gatsby-themed Gala Dinner. Delegates embraced the roaring twenties theme with vintage-inspired attire, while enjoying an evening of fine dining, live music and dancing in celebration of both a successful Congress and ICOMIA’s 60-year legacy.
