ICOMIA Technical Committee — Shaping global standards for recreational boating
ICOMIA Technical Committee

Setting the technical direction of the global recreational marine industry.

A specialist committee monitoring emerging regulations, guiding the development of ISO standards and pursuing common global technical specifications between ISO and ABYC.

About the committee

A technical voice for recreational boating.

The ICOMIA Technical Committee brings together technical experts from national marine industry associations around the world. Together, they monitor emerging and technical regulations, guide the development and revision of ISO standards, and work to align global technical specifications between ISO and ABYC.

The committee remains aware of technical developments in adjacent sectors and brings those of relevance to the attention of the recreational marine industry — for possible imitation, adoption or further development.
