Role Description
ICOMIA is seeking a commercially minded, relationship-driven professional to grow its global network of members, sponsors, and strategic partners, while strengthening industry engagement and visibility. Building on ICOMIA’s established marketing and membership foundations, this role combines partnership development, content-led marketing, sponsorship growth, and industry representation.
The post holder will play a central role in increasing membership, securing commercial and in-kind support, and ensuring members clearly understand and benefit from ICOMIA’s value proposition. This role has scope to evolve and will be shaped around the successful candidate’s experience and impact.

Technical Executive
Note: this is an opportunity with ICOMIA Members, British Marine
Based in Southampton – hybrid working

We are seeking a Technical Executive to provide guidance and effective lobbying on technical issues to support the UK leisure, Superyacht and Small Commercial marine industry.
The successful candidate will require a broad technical knowledge of the industries regulatory and standards framework, notably the RCD, ISO Standards, REG large Yacht code as well as domestic rules on a flexible basis such as MCA codes, Boat Safety Scheme, Hire boat code etc.
To fulfil the key aspects of the role, you will require a degree in a technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
This position will involve direct contact with member companies, government agencies, national committees and international working groups, so a confident communicator with good presentational and negotiating skills is required.
