ICOMIA exists to represent, support and develop the leisure marine industry to create a safe, sustainable and successful future. There are two different types of ICOMIA membership available; full and sustaining.


Full ICOMIA membership is available to all national industry associations worldwide. Full members become part of the driving force of ICOMIA via their work through groups and committees. We see their expertise shaping current and future policies on an international scale that have direct impact for companies in the recreational boating industry.

Full Membership Offers:

  • Access to and inclusion in a diverse selection of working groups and committees covering specialist industry areas. These include marinas, sustainability, technical, grow boating, super yachts and diversity.
  • The ability to vote on the direction ICOMIA takes and the areas of focus covered.
  • The ability to vote members to the Board.
  • Strong representation and advocacy for the industry at an international level.
  • Participation in policy guidance for the industry.
  • Information on all industry regulatory developments and guidance via newsletters, updates, committees and groups.

Sustaining ICOMIA membership is open to companies and organisations related to the international recreational boating industry. Sustaining members can join ICOMIA provided they are already a member of their national industry association and/or if their national association has given consent or if no national association exists.
