The Slovenian Marine Industry Association (SMIA) is the point of contact for the Slovenian nautical industry. It is a professional association of companies and individuals providing products and services in marine industry sector and contributing to efficient export of Slovenian know-how.

SMIA, established in May 2018, gathers proffessionals and companies from Slovenia active in different marine fields, ranging from boat builders, equipment manufacturers, design and engineering offices and services providers. Many of the current SMIA members are already integrated within the global marine industry and have already achieved a recognised position in many areas.
