11th Hour Racing, ICOMIA and IFBSO. A sustainable partnership to make an impact.

Session Description

11th Hour Racing have a high profile position amongst the elite of round the world sailing, whilst the biggest environmental impact they create is delivered in partnership with industry players around the world. Our challenge is how can we collaborate to create even greater impact together. 

Part 1 

A 20 minute introduction, delivered by Jeremy Pochman, the CEO of 11th Hour Racing on the state of ocean science and preservation, and a show case of the work of 11th Hour Racing. 

Part 2  

A panel discussion chaired by Joe Lynch, CEO of ICOMIA to discuss the sustainability initiatives already underway within our respective networks. (Including Posidonia, LCA and others)

Part 3 

A discussion with the audience to highlight areas of potential collaboration that 11th Hour could support. Audience members will be asked to identify opportunities taking place within the IFBSO or MIA networks that would match the criteria of support for 11th Hour Racing. 

Jermey Pochman Speaker Bio 

Jeremy Pochman is a co-founder and the CEO of 11th Hour Racing and Ocean Hour Farm. Working across both organizations, Jeremy seeks to underscore the intersection of ocean and land, and us humans, who are in the middle, and how we can push each other to find better solutions for the sea and the soil.
