Description

Guidance on Brexit, edition 8, issued in January 2021.

On Friday 31st January 2020 the UK became the first Member State to officially withdraw from the EU and an EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA), based on international law, was agreed by EU and UK negotiators on 24th December 2020 which has been provisionally applicable since 1st January 2021.

This guidance note has highlighted various key scenarios which may have impacted manufacturers of marine engines, components or small craft/large yachts depending on whether an exit-deal could be agreed between the European Union and the United Kingdom.

This is subject to change and we will endeavour to update as progress is made.
