De Koning Marine Service BV (KMS) is a member of De Koninggroep. De Koninggroep, based in the Netherlands, consists of six highly specialised surface treatment companies working for marine and industrial markets. KMS has an extensive, 25 year long experience in shot blasting, fairing and painting for both refit and new build of luxurious mega yachts (external and internal). KMS works on large and small jobs in self-owned modern facilities for private owners as well as on site at boat yards. The company Headquarter is in Oosterhout and is led by owner Huub de Koning.

The Applicator Group includes: ACA Marine; Bonsink Yachtpainters BV; Klaver Yacht Painting International BV; Pinmar; PYP Painting; Rolling Stock; Superyacht Solutions and now De Koning Marine Service BV.

Coatings remain a significant and almost unique issue for the superyacht industry, since visual appearance provokes such critical interest from the owner, and so, together with renowned event organiser Amsterdam RAI and sister association SYBAss, ICOMIA is holding the International Superyacht Coatings Conference (ISCC) – a must attend event that allows professionals to align themselves with the latest legislation, tools and standardised procedures that have been developed to drive quality and ensure success with regards to superyacht coatings. To be held in Amsterdam on 11 – 12 December 2014, ISCC’s interactive and in-depth approach includes subjects related to paint application, quality inspections and assessments, training and certification, standards and guidelines, expected technological progress in products, services and facilities and current and future global legislation.
