In the beginning of 1992 the associations of companies in the recreation industry in Holland (Hiswa and RECRON) have started the development of a tailor made TQM program for its members in the recreation industry, in association with Seph Jacobs of LC. consultancy, training en search, who was not only consulting but also responsible as project manager. In 1994 this program was launched for members of Hiswa, the association of entrepreneurs in the recreational marine industry. The Hiswa program was especially designed for marinas, yacht charters and sailing schools.
