ICOMIA News

On Thursday 12 September, at Cannes Yachting Festival, a collaboration agreement between the European Boating Industry (EBI) and ICOMIA was renewed. This partnership aims to bring the interests of the leisure marine industry to the attention of the EU institutions and stakeholders with the aim to advocate for the common interests of the leisure marine industry.

Dubai will host the prestigious ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations) World Marina Conference 2020 in Autumn, bringing the international event to the Middle East for the very first time.

By winning the bid, the UAE Marine community reaffirms the country’s position as the most vibrant market for the marinas industry in the Middle East, with 35 marinas across the country of which 15 are dotted along Dubai’s coastlines and waterfronts.

The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) has released the latest edition of its Recreational Boating Industry Statistics.

The trade association’s membership is estimated to represent more than 80% of the world’s leisure boating business, making ICOMIA well positioned to provide an international compilation of data covering the industry’s diversified and varied segments. ICOMIA’s statistics are used extensively within the industry, especially by those interested in investing or seeking to work within certain sectors.
