    In 1981 a group of Taiwan`s yacht builders banded together to organize the Taiwan Yacht Industry Association (TYIA) and was officially formed and approved by Ministry of Interior in 1983.  Now TYIA`s membership comprises 32 yacht builders and 35 yacht-related equipment suppliers.  TYIA has helped its members upgrade their products to meet global demands.
