Description
This standard defines the requirements to determine flotation, seating and maximum load for recreational boats. This standard, unless otherwise stated, shall apply to recreational boats up to 6m length overall whether propelled by machinery or not. The following types of boats are exempted from the application of this standard: – Sailing Craft of National or International Racing Classes, – Inflatable Boats, – Canoes and Kayaks, – Pontoon Boats, – Sailing Surfboards, – Wet Bikes, Powered Surfboards and other similar Craft.
