Description
With the inclusion of Personal Watercraft (PWC) in Recreational Craft Directive 2003/44/EC, not only for construction but also for exhaust gas and sound emissions the PWC industry was prompted to carry out two sound tests on models available at the time on the European market. The first test took place in September 2001 and the second test was conducted in September 2003. Both tests brought together craft from Bombardier, Kawasaki and Yamaha. The tests took place on the lake of Jet Ski Village near the town of Villeneuve La Guyard in France.
