Description
The Working Party on Forestry, having held its previous meeting on 1 July 2004, met again on 1 September 2004. The first part of its meeting was devoted to the proposals elaborated by the Commission to implement the FLEGT (Forest Law Enforcement Governance and Trade) Action Plan. The second part was devoted to the preparation of the meeting of the UNFF Ad Hoc Expert Group (AHEG-LBI) in New York. 2. At the beginning of the meeting a table of forestry-related meetings and deadlines for the second half of 2004 and the first half of 2005 was distributed. This table, drawn up by the Netherlands Presidency in consultation with the future Luxembourg Presidency, is set out in Annex I.
