Le Boat Managing Director, Cheryl Brown, Breakfast Briefing Keynote
A standout moment at Metstrade 2025 was the compelling keynote delivered by Le Boat Managing Director Cheryl Brown at the annual Breakfast Briefing.

Her later Q&A session, held adjacent to the ICOMIA stand, allowed delegates to hear more about industry challenges, from Le Boat’s perspective, and how Cheryl and the Le Boat team have been handling them.
The Superyacht Coating Conference 2025
Running alongside Metstrade, the Superyacht Coating Conference was another major highlight. Helmed by Albert Willemsen with significant contributions from ICOMIA Programme Director Ben Grigg and others, the conference drew strong international participation.
Initial feedback post-conference was positive, reinforcing this event’s growing importance within the superyacht sector.

The 2025 Dame Design Awards
Innovation (in tandem with sustainability) was also in sharp focus at the highly anticipated DAME Design Awards – which is always a highlight of Metstrade.

ICOMIA’s Technical Director, Patrick Hemp, was once again serving on the jury panel. The Awards showcased exceptional design and ICOMIA extends its warmest congratulations to LXNAV, crowned overall winner. Also congratulations to all other entrants and category winners.
The Foiling Organization & ICOMIA Form Strategic Partnership at Metstrade 2025
A significant development during Metstrade 2025 was the announcement of a new strategic partnership between ICOMIA and The Foiling Organization.
