Opening Ceremony
Representatives from Palma City Council helped to officially open ICOMIA/IFBSO Congress 2025 yesterday, kicking off a week of presentations, meetings and events focused entirely on the growth and betterment of the recreational boating industry.
Javier Sanz, Presidente Port Authority, Alejandro Sáez de San Pedro, Regional Minister for Enterprise, Employment and Energy and Antonio Deudero Mayans, City Councillor for Mobility of Palma as well as Silvia Delgado, Director of the Balearic Enterprise Development Agency (ADR Balears), were all welcomed to the opening ceremony which took place on Tuesday 27 May 2025.
The City of Palma have greatly assisted event organisers ANEN with the organisation of the four-day event which is held annually and exclusively for ICOMIA and IFBSO members. Palma is a fantastic location for Congress and it is the first time a Balearic Island has been the venue for the event.
Also opening the event were Darren Vaux, President of ICOMIA and Niels Klarenbeek, President of IFBSO.
