ICOMIA was delighted to join its Dutch members at this year’s HISWA te Water Boat Show, held in Lelystad and running until 7 September 2025.

Representing ICOMIA, CEO Joe Lynch and Technical Director Patrick Hemp attended the event, which is widely recognised as the largest in-water boat show in Northern Europe.

The show presents an extraordinary range of boats – from sailing yachts and powerboats to luxury craft – alongside an impressive display of marine equipment, services, and accessories. With pavilions arranged around the marina, visitors enjoy a uniquely accessible layout that encourages exploration of both land and water-based exhibits.

A Vibrant Atmosphere

Despite some late summer storms, the atmosphere remained vibrant. Joe Lynch commented: “It was great to see such a lively, enthusiastic, and well-attended show. The variety of boating experiences on display and the welcoming environment for both existing and potential customers highlight the strength and appeal of our industry.”

For ICOMIA, HISWA te Water also offered the opportunity to connect with many of its members and demonstrate support for the Dutch marine industry. As Lynch noted, starting the European boat show season in such a dynamic setting underlines the importance of in-water exhibitions in promoting boating lifestyles to the public.

The HISWA te Water Boat Show is organised by HISWA-RECRON, the Marine Industry Association of the Netherlands, and plays a vital role in showcasing the sector’s innovation, craftsmanship, and diversity.

As the European show season begins, ICOMIA looks forward to further engaging with members across the continent, strengthening industry collaboration, and championing the growth of recreational boating worldwide.
