Hong Kong Boating Industry Association (HKBIA) organised The Hong Kong Boating Forum 2025, which was held on 3 December 2025.

Hosted By The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club
This year’s event was generously hosted by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC) as Gold Sponsor and saw the participation of over 120 highly motivated and engaged delegates.

The Forum opened with a keynote presentation by ICOMIA CEO Joe Lynch who outlined the global perspective of both the short and long-term trends influencing the leisure marine industry.
Lively Panel Discussions
Several lively panel discussions with learned industry experts and professionals then followed that delved into:
- How do civic planners, town councillors, government agencies, industry representatives and yacht clubs collaborate to build a successful future for all.
- How is technology unlocking new levels of safety, accessibility and enjoyment of boating.
- How do we excite the interest of and then engage with the next generation of boaters.
