The ISO TC188 Small Craft Standards Bulletin, Edition 2015:3 has been uploaded to the ICOMIA Library

The ICOMIA Small Craft Standards Bulletin is issued biannually and available to download, for free, from the ICOMIA Online Library.
Edition 2015:3 of the ICOMIA Small Craft Standards Bulltetin provides an update of standards following the week of TC 188 ISO working group meetings held during the BOOT Dusseldorf Boat Show 19th – 23rd January 2015.
Standards NEWS:
– A new Sub-Committee 2. called Engines and Propulsion Systems has been formed from four TC 188 working groups including ISO 13590:2003 – Personal watercraft – Construction and system installation requirements. This will not impact people using the standards in any way.
– Further discussions on the additional re-structuring of working groups took place during two TC 188 Conveners and Project Leaders meetings held at METS 2014 and BOOT Dusseldorf 2015. Other items discussed at these meetings were the need for TC 188 members to re-apply under SC2. in order to receive LiveLink updates and be eligible to comment or vote on appropriate standards.
– The next 30th plenary meeting for TC 188 will take place in Goteborg, Sweden from the 22-26th June 2015 and there will be various WG’s holding meetings over that week.
