ICOMIA World Marinas Conference 2016 : Launches

The much anticipated ICOMIA World Marinas Conference, to be held in Amsterdam from 17 to 19 November this year, promises to deliver an innovative programme of topics, speakers and events under the theme: “Future of marinas in a changing world.

300 delegates, from marina developers to hardware suppliers, are expected to join the Conference and discuss topics such as water planning regimes and zones, refurbishment of aged marinas, environmental legislation and customer care. Registration is now open and early bird discounts are available from now until 1 May 2016. The ICOMIA World Marinas Conference is organised by RAI Amsterdam in partnership with the ICOMIA Marinas Group and the HISWA Holland Marine Industry association.

Stimulating programme The two-day Conference programme at the RAI building will explore and highlight a range of subjects, offering insight into the very latest in marina product development and technology. More than 30 speakers, from in and outside the industry, will be present to give insight in topics like marina development, regulations, financing and innovations. Parallel breakout sessions, open panel discussions, matchmaking programs and plenary presentations are going to fulfil all delegates’ needs for the latest information.
Social events and marina tour Day one will end with a welcoming dinner to network and celebrate in style. On day three the marina tour will visit some of the best Dutch state of the art marinas in the area. Partners are more than welcome to join the marina tour in addition to their specially designed partner programme, which includes, among other things, a visit to the Rijksmuseum and a high tea in the city of Amsterdam.
