Metstrade 2025 is set to make history as the largest edition of the world’s leading B2B marine equipment trade show.

Unprecedented Demand

For the first time, the event will occupy the entire RAI Amsterdam complex, reflecting unprecedented demand—particularly from the superyacht and refit sectors.

“Previously, we couldn’t accommodate all requests for stand space, especially within the superyacht segments where we had a waiting list for years,” explains Director Niels Klarenbeek. “This expansion is a direct response to that growth.”

37th Edition of Metstrade

The 37th edition, running 18–20 November 2025, introduces Hall 8, dedicated to the superyacht and refit markets. Klarenbeek notes that the superyacht section remains Metstrade’s fastest-growing area, followed closely by the Construction and Material Pavilion.

A major new feature this year is the Superyacht Stage, a dynamic platform showcasing cutting-edge technologies, design innovations, and operational advancements shaping the sector’s future. Open to all attendees without pre-registration, the stage aims to foster dialogue among designers, builders, and suppliers.

Metstrade 2025

“While there are many events for superyachts, Metstrade is unique as a purely B2B environment,” says Klarenbeek. “Boatbuilders use this space to connect with suppliers—something they simply can’t do during consumer shows.”

Already A Full-Capacity Event

Despite global market headwinds and ongoing geopolitical challenges, the 2025 edition is “almost already at capacity,” Klarenbeek reports. He emphasises that during uncertain times, the value of in-person networking becomes even clearer. “The event provides an arena where builders and suppliers can meet and discuss. These connections are essential right now.”

Also returning is the Women in Marine Industry event—one of Metstrade’s most attended sessions. Supported by Marine Industry News, it celebrates diversity and inclusion through insights from leading female professionals. “Supporting diversity is essential,” Klarenbeek concludes. “The Women in Marine platform highlights discussions the industry still needs to have—and Metstrade is proud to support that momentum.”
