Following the 54th ICOMIA Annual General Meeting on 22nd May 2020, Sara Anghel was elected the new ICOMIA President.

Sara Anghel, president of the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Canada has led the association for more than 12 years and has nearly 25 years of government relations experience. She represents the interests of the entire boating industry including US and Canadian manufacturers, Canadian boat dealers and marine operators.

ICOMIA and P&O Marinas announce the postponement of ICOMIA World Marinas Conference to October 2021, in Dubai, due to the uncertainties and challenges the COVID-19 pandemic poses.

The management is currently working closely with the partners and speakers to deliver a promising and exceptional conference in October 2021, and looking forward to having in place the highest levels of safety standards implemented to ensure the safety of the attendees.

The International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) is delighted to welcome The Thai Yachting Business Association as a full member, as well as the ICOMIA Marine Engine Committee (IMEC) welcoming Scania. 

ICOMIA is the international trade association representing the global marine industry since 1966. ICOMIA brings together marine industry associations from across the world in one global organisation and represents them at international level, presenting a strong and united voice when dealing with issues challenging the industry.
