This 2015 Environmental Bulletin highlights the new upcoming legislation: Global Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), regarding labels and Safe Data Sheets of Chemical products. GHS is a system that defines and classifies the hazards of products containing chemical compounds which can harm the environment and user, and communicates health and safety information related to these chemicals on labels and material safety data sheets (called Safety Data Sheets, or SDSs, in GHS). Changes have been made which come into effect from 1 June 2015.
