Free Seminar on Future IMO NOx Limits at METS

ICOMIA offers a free seminar on future IMO NOx limits at METS. This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about the NOx regulation changes and have your questions answered about this important issue, as it is likely compliance with IMO Tier III limits will require a technical rethink. This workshop will be of particular interest to superyacht yards and certain equipment manufacturers.

We are happy to announce that three of the industry’s most prominent experts have agreed to speak at the seminar and share their knowledge with us.

Firstly, Mr. Andrew Williams (ICOMIA IMO Representative) will talk about “MARPOL ANNEX VI 2008 Amendments – The Legal Requirements”. After this, Mr. Stefan Mueller and Mr. Klaus Poepsel from Tognum/MTU will present “The Technical Implementation of Tier III to Engine Design and its Likely Consequences”. Lastly, RINA’s Mr. Paolo Moretti will guide us through “Certification of Tier III installations”. A panel discussion will be held at the end of the seminar where the three speakers will answer the audience’s questions.
